With Homey, controlling sunscreens, blinds and roller blinds from your smartphone is easier than ever. Homey connects to a whole range of wirelessly controlled motors, and makes them available in the Homey App for Android or iOS.
Homey supports wireless blinds of many brands. Motors from Somfy RTS, Brel, Bofu and Forest are supported, which are found in solutions from SUNWAY (Brel, Somfy and Bofu motors), Verano (Somfy motors) and many others.
For motorized blinds that are controlled through a wired switch, you can install a ‘roller shutter’. Roller shutters are modules that control motors. Kind of like dimmers, but for motors instead of lightbulbs. Qubino, Fibaro and KlikAanKlikuit are brands that make roller shutters – and all of them work with Homey.
After adding your blinds to Homey, you can easily control them from anywhere in the world using the Homey Smartphone App. You can also include them in your own scenarios to move them automatically, for instance when waking up. For more information about automated blinds and Homey, read our blog post on the subject.

I’m really struck by the ease of combining all these different devices and programming them.
A very well-conceived concept. This single hub that connects all Smart Home devices solves a substantial problem in the Smart Home market.
What stands out is the ease of use of Homey. Despite initial doubts, I was able to control Somfy sunscreens from my own Flows within a minute.
The most powerful and versatile Smart Home platform on the market. The Flow Editor, Apps and active community differentiate Homey from its competitors.
